classified government information. we want to show you where this information first came out. they are loosely affiliated with the group anonymous and so they tweeted this out a couple of days ago and it just got bigger after that saying they had basically stolen all of these apple i. d. numbers from and fbi laptop. and here is the information here. they say they posted one million apple i. d. s and the use are names connected to antisec says the entire file they got contained use are names, zip codes, cell phone numbers and addresses. but it shows here just the device name and number. it says it got the file by hacking into an fbi agent. antisec saws the entire file is actually 12 million apple identification numbers and names. the group claims the fbi is using the apple device for a

tracking people project. they say the fbi using this information to spy on people. if it were linked with information such as names or addresses, the numbers could be use in a way to get at more sensitive data. experts say just knowing the i. d. number itself doesn't enable the fbi to track or eavesdrop on people. now, the fbi did respond. i want to show you their response on twitter saying first that the statement on reports with personal information was hacked. we never had the information in question. bottom line, totally false. that is the response from the f.b.i. but if it is false, it does bring up the question about where the information did come from. and that is what people are trying to get at today. again, apple not responding yet to this breach of information. back to you. back to you. an election day victory rally interrupted by gunfire. that is next. >> plus a call to world leaders to end the crisis in syria.

wrongdoing. matt ackland explains. >> reporter: minutes after what was called a status hearing, thomas gore came out of courthouse and ran past our camera. you will recall earlier this year, gore, a gray campaign worker, pleaded guilty to involvement in a scam to pay suleiman brown to verbally attack mayor adrian fenty. en the u.s. attorney's office indicated that gore continued to work with prosecutors and they needed more time continue that work. gore could be granted leniency for his cooperation. >> we're in this until it's over. >> these are twitter pictures of mayor gray at the democratic national convention in north carolina.

new this morning, police are asking for your help in the search for a missing man. take a look at the picture on your screen. 71-year-old david short of alexandria has been missing since about 9:00 yesterday when he was reportedly going to virginia hospital center in arlington. short is believed to be driving a twoix silver green honda crx with virginia tags kbk6001. he may be in the gainesville area of prince william county looking for a relative. a virginia woman charged with killing a mother and son in 2010 is pleading guilty. natalia wilson will serve two consecutive life terms without parole for stabbing a woman and her 8-year-old son. wilson had been married to the boy's father. court documents show wilson confessed to the murders saying she was jealous of her husband's relationship with his ex-wife. ex-wife.

something new ache mobile app create here in our area. it is called yellow flag and it vote vied a little tailgate in your pocket, as wave been calling it here. joining me are the creators, josh grand gabe peyton and also jason lafollette. you guys came up with this concept. it is an app where it is sort of a social network where can you connect with your friends and trash talk and it has also got score updates. tell me a little bit, first of all, about how it started, why you decided to make an app like this. >> first and foremost, we are football fans. so-- >> clearly. >> and so i went to auburn undergrad. my brother a huge lsu fan. my family is from louisiana originally. my brother and a and a bunch. our friends were trying to communicate. we were using text messaging at the time and we thought we

could create a better product. >> it is the fastest way you can communicate during live football games with your friends. >> and jason, talk to me about the development of it. when you log on, you need to have a facebook account, right? >> so we leveraged the social grasp that you've already create in facebook to pull in your friends in the ache. >> for those of you who may not want our parents to read the trash talking that wear doing, can you decide whether you want it it post on your facebook page or not and you can keep it within yellow flag. >> we value our user's privacy. when the app starts up, it asks you for different levels of permission to post to facebook. you can turn it off and nothing will go back to facebook and you can still use your app and pull in your friends. >> josh, you were wounded in iraq and you have a goal here to employ and hire wounded

warriors and veterans that work on the app with you? >> yeah. last year, i was wounded in iraq and ended up in walter reed and have been part of the wounded transition unit, the warrior transition unit since then. i just think that wound ped warriors and just soldiers in general have an affinity for sports. if you can't be a part of it the way that you used to before your injuries, maybe being a part of yellow flag will give them one way that they can be interacting with sports. as we gain popularity, we want to get to the point where we can hire veterans and wounded warriors to be a part of our company and help us succeed. >> great. really great to meet you guys. love what you're doing and i love the app. it is very cool to look at and keeping you updated with the scores an information on the players along with all the of the fun. so thank you so much for coming
